English VersionDionigi Cristian Lentini was born in Mottola, Taranto, Italy, in 1980. In July 2005, he was graduated in Computer Science Engineering (course in Electronics and Telecommunications) at University of Calabria, Italy, where he has begun the research activity jointly with the Department of Electronics, Information Theory and Systemistic Sciences (DEIS). He obtained the qualification for Engineer's profession in January 2006 and he enrolled himself in the Low List of the Engineers Professional Association of Province of Taranto, Italy. He submitted some scientific papers about wireless technology and security to the most important conferences all over the world and the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking (JWCN 2006), a famous international scientific review by Hindawai Publishing Corporation, where he published his work entitled 'Static and dynamic 4-way handshake solutions to avoid denial of service attack in Wi-Fi protected access and IEEE 802.11i'. He worked in Capgemini SpA, a multinational company skilled in consulting, technology, and outsourcing services, in Rome, as Analist Consultant and Programmer inside the Hi-Tech/Space and Defense Services Unit. He took part in important projects for great companies as Galileo Avionica SpA; Finmeccanica Group, Alenia Aeronautica, AerMacchi, Italian Ministry of Defense, and Banche Popolari Unite (BPU). He works in Alenia Composite SpA - Finmeccanica Group - in Grottaglie, Taranto, as M. Research & Development Engineer for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Program. Java and Web RIA applications programming, relational DB design, IT security, and cryptographic algorithms and protocols represent some of his major interests in the IT field.

Nel Luglio 2005 si laurea in Ingegneria Informatica (indirizzo Elettronica e Telecomunicazioni) all'Università della Calabria, dove ha iniziato l'attività di ricerca in collaborazione con il DEIS - Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informatica e Sistemistica. Ha ottenuto l'abilitazione alla professione di Ingegnere nel Gennaio 2006 e subito dopo si è iscritto all'Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Taranto (sez. A settori Civile/Ambientale, Industriale e dell'Informazione). Ha sottomesso diversi lavori scientifici sulla tecnologia e sicurezza wireless presso le più importanti conferenze in tutto il mondo e l'EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking (JWCN 2006), una famosa rivista scientifica internazionale dell'Hindawi Publishing Corporation, ha pubblicato il paper intitolato 'Static and Dynamic 4-Way Handshake Solutions to Avoid Denial of Service Attack in Wi-Fi Protected Access and IEEE 802.11i'.
